How My Business Gave Me the One Thing I Needed Most
Sep 09, 2025
When I first started my special education advocacy business, I thought it would be a way to channel my passion for helping children.
What I didn’t realize then was how deeply it would change my own family’s life.
For years, financial stress haunted me every single day.
The kind that keeps you awake at night wondering how you’ll pay for therapies, equipment, or even the basics your child needs. Every bill felt like a mountain. And every decision came with that knot of anxiety in my stomach.
This business completely changed that.
Not overnight by any means. Not without a sh*t ton of work.
But brick by brick, I built something that gave my family stability…. and stability meant freedom.
And by freedom, it was freedom to be present at my daughter’s appointments.
To step in and be her aide when funding was cut.
Most importantly, freedom to spend time with her. Time that, if I’m being honest with you, I know is very limited due to her medical diagnosis.
That’s why I share this, and why I run the Grit and Grace program.
This program isn’t just about building a six-figure advocacy business (though that’s exactly what I’ll teach you how to do).
It’s about helping you create the kind of life where you don’t have to choose between making an income and being there for your family.
It’s about taking your passion for helping children and putting it into a business that sustains you. And makes a massive impact for families who are desperate for your knowledge and guidance.
And here’s the truth:
There are more families who need help than I can serve alone.
It’s getting to the point where I have to turn parents away. And I hate doing that. Special education advocates are needed now more than ever!
That’s why I’m working on training more advocates.
So I can confidently send families to people I know are equipped with the right tools, strategies, and heart and to get these children results!
If you’ve ever felt called to advocacy, if you’ve ever thought “I wish I could do what you do,” I want you to know: YOU CAN!
I give you everything on a plater. Daily communication, multiple 1:1 calls, video trainings, plus me by your side for your first 3 cases!
In 3 short months, you could be running your own advocacy business, helping families, and building a life that gives you both impact and freedom.
Book a call with me today to see if Grit and Grace is the right fit for you.
Because when parents become advocates… CHILDREN WIN.
And when you step into this work…your family wins too.
