Hi, I'm Courtney Burnett
Courtney Burnett is a mom, advocate, licensed SLPA, and IEP coach. She helps parents advocate for their child’s best interests through one-on-one coaching, mentoring, and custom courses. As a mom raising a child with a disability, Courtney learned how challenging and complex it can be to successfully navigate the world of special education services. She committed to developing her knowledge and advocacy skills so she could help other parents avoid the mistakes and obstacles she had to personally fight through in order to get her daughter the right support and accommodations.
Courtney successfully campaigned to change the law in her home state of Arizona, requiring universal changing tables to be installed in every publicly-funded building. She continues her advocacy work through an organization she co-founded called Dignified Changes. Courtney believes in standing up for what’s right, fighting for inclusion, and finding joy in everyday moments. She loves a good cup of coffee, taking epic road trips with her family, and spending as much time as possible at the beach.
