What's Included?

This 10-page guide will take you step-by-step through visual communication & AAC.

The Visual Communication Toolkit includes two videos and a ten-page resource guide. The Visual Communication Toolkit is designed for parents and caregivers. The Visual Communication Toolkit will help you have the foundational knowledge of what visual communication is all about, the different types of AAC; you will also be learning about the different vocabulary used by therapists and teachers in connection with AAC. Parents want to advocate and ensure their child is getting the right support; it is hard to do that when you don't understand what Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is all about.

It's never too early or too late to start

By age three, a child usually speaks around 200 words. If your child is not speaking around 200 words at age three, it is a signal they may need access to additional tools and resources such as visual communication to help them express their wants and needs. Get the support you need as a parent to help you help your child. Download the Visual Communication Toolkit today! The Visual Communication Toolkit will help you learn about this type of communication and give you the knowledge to start a conversation with your child's Speech Therapist.

The Best Gift A Parent Can Give A Child Is the Gift Of Communication

Connecting with our kids is what every parent wants. When you can't understand what your child needs, it breaks your heart.

There is a way to do that even if your child cannot verbally tell you what they need. I created the Visual Communication Toolkit for parents looking for a solution to communicating and connecting with their child, who want to decrease the meltdowns that happen when your child gets frustrated from not expressing their thoughts and ideas verbally.
