Hi, I'm Courtney!
I’m a Disabilities Advocate, IEP Advocate, Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant, and a mom of a child with disabilities.
What does that mean for you? I’m an expert who can help you navigate the complicated world of special education (IEPs), complex medical needs, and care coordinator with insurance companies, doctors' offices, and your IEP team — just to name a few. I have over eighteen years of experience, both personally and professionally. I know how hard it is to be the gatekeeper of all the things your child needs and to manage all the services they receive.

Special Education
Overview of the special education services that are available to you and provided by law here in the United States. In addition to the overview, we will fully customize this area of learning to your child, their needs, and your goals as a parent and advocate.
Level Up Your Advocacy Efforts
You will learn how to advocate for your child in all settings giving you the confidence to advocate for your child no matter who you are talking to. Settings could include the school, medical appointments, the insurance company etc.
Center of Control
Taking your power back! You will learn how you can leverage your center of control to maximize your efforts and prioritize your ever-growing to-do list.
Understand Systems of Care
There are many systems that parents and caregivers have to navigate in order to get their child access to different services that are available to the child. Together we will build your knowledge and understanding for opportunities are available for your child such as insurance including Medicaid services, special education, assistive technology, sensory integration, and different therapy approaches and how to go about getting these services started for your child.
Advocacy Road Map
By the end of our time together, we will have created and established an advocacy road map for your child so they can have more access to educational opportunities and more meaningful therapy services that are in alignment with your family values. You can access your monthly lessons by logging into your private lessons via Courtney's website; inside your library, you will find your Grit and Grace monthly lesson; in addition to your monthly lessons, you will also get access to all of Courtney's online courses.
Access to the Advocacy App
Once you're registered, I will send you access to my Advocacy app, where you will have direct access to me for all your questions. You can put your questions in any time, day or night. I will respond twice a week Monday-Friday to all the questions you leave between our coaching calls.
