An effective IEP will change your child’s life

Let’s take your basic, minimum IEP and transform it into a specialized document that gives your child exactly what they need and enhances their learning and life – now and after high school.

Oh, and this all takes less than 24 hours!

You May Be Feeling…

Frustrated by everything I don’t know about special education and IEPs

Burnt out with the process, the red tape, roadblocks, endless waits, and mountains of paperwork

Confused about what’s even available or what I can ask for

Lonely and isolated – no one really knows how to support you or understand what you’re going

Overwhelmed by knowing my child needs help and support, but having no idea how to help them

You love your child and want what’s best for them, it’s just really hard to do it on your own. I absolutely get it – I’ve been through all of this myself. And that’s why I created IEP in a Day.

It’s hard enough to get an IEP meeting – so let’s make the most of it!

All the tools, advice, and support you need for a successful, stress-free IEP meeting that actually sets your child up for success.

1 on 1 support

It’s time to finally feel seen and heard. I’ll share resources and supports you may not even know you can ask for and give you everything you need to communicate effectively with your IEP team to get the outcomes your child deserves.

IEP workbook

This completely customized, 70+ page workbook is color-coded to help you stay organized and confident in asking for the requests and additions we’ve discussed.

You can’t put a price on the power and purpose it gives you.

Advocacy App

Download this free app and get 30 days of unlimited Q&A Monday – Friday. When the school sends you an email, denies a request, or you’re unsure about something we discussed…

just reach out and we’ll talk through it!

Custom Goals

We’re not about the bare minimum.

We’ll create personalized goals that support your child now and into the future. This is especially helpful for including assistive technology and other less-understood tools.

How it works

Step One: Upload your child’s existing IEP to my secure online portal and pick the date and time for your work session

Step Two: Download your customized IEP in a Day workbook or request a bound and printed copy to be mailed to you

Step Three: Transform your child’s IEP and get everything you need to have the most successful IEP meeting in our VIP Day work session. We’ll work through it all together so you are confident and comfortable advocating for your child. A really great IEP makes future meetings so much easier – once you have something new added, it will likely stay and become the new standard.

Step Four: You’ll have 30 days of support so you can get my expert advice and feedback throughout the implementation process. If the school pushes back on a request, denies an accommodation, or tries to change or eliminate consultation

Your emotions aren’t wrong, but they aren’t going to get you results. I give you the research, data, and clear understanding of federal law that you need to back up and support every request.

"Before working with Courtney, my daughter was excluded from school activities because of her food allergy. After working with Courtney, not only did my child receive the services and support that she needed, Courtney's expertise educated the entire school district on inclusion for her allergy!"

"I knew my daughter needed support, but I didn't know where to start. Courtney helped me navigate the process by getting my daughter tested. She assisted me during the process to get the IEP meeting set up. We live in different states, but Courtney went the extra mile to be on the phone to coach me during the actual meeting!"

I wasn't sure what my daughter needed until I met Courtney

"Before our next IEP meeting, Courtney listened to all of our requests for Benny. She was able to translate exactly what we wanted so the school could understand our needs. Courtney even attended an IEP meeting with us to make sure the school legally implemented everything that we wanted."

Don't Leave Your Child's Future To Chance

What happens in these meetings impacts your child for years. When you don’t have a clear plan,

it’s easy for important supports to be missed, delayed, or dismissed.

If You Keep

Doing This Alone…

  • You walk into IEP meetings unsure what to say or ask for.

  • Decisions get made that don’t reflect who your child really is.

  • Services stay patchy, inconsistent, or “waitlisted.”

  • Your child continues to struggle in a system that doesn’t fully see them.

When You Have a Clear Strategy...

  • You know exactly what to ask for and why it matters.

  • Meetings stay focused on your child’s needs—not just the school’s limits.

  • You leave with next steps you understand and can track.

  • You get a plan designed to help your child actually learn, grow, and belong.

How We’ll Get Your Child the Support They Need

You don’t need another confusing process. You need a simple path that helps you prepare, feel confident, and know what to do next.

Baraa

"I found Courtney on Instagram when I felt lost and overwhelmed. She helped me build a team, create a clear plan, and understand what to expect.

She took time to understand our unique situation, came prepared with state law knowledge, and offered steady encouragement.

During our IEP meeting, Courtney was calm, supportive, and confident. She helped translate my nervous, scattered thoughts into clear points and guided the conversation every step of the way.

We had an amazing outcome, and I truly credit that success to her. I will absolutely have Courtney on my team for future meetings."

Jasmine

Parent, New York

"Courtney Burnett is simply the best. The extensive amount of time she has invested into working with me to provide everything she has for my child has far exceeded my expectations.

The struggle is real when you have to fight for your child for FAPE. Having her involved in my child's IEP process has been invaluable.

When you bring Courtney on as a member of your child's team, you are also adding a new family member. Courtney is passionately driven to provide your child with the very best outcome."
